The Saint
Louis Cultural Flamenco Society is a not for profit organization created with the objective of introducing audiences of all
age and background to the experience of the Spanish culture.
Spain, at the crossroad of the main western civilizations
for more than twenty-five centuries, has a rich and variegated culture. The Saint Louis Cultural Flamenco Society promotes
the education of the public in various forms of folkloric expression, such as language, cuisine, crafts…and dance.
The
Society emphasizes dance as a mean of manifesting the sensibility and the passion that characterizes the Spanish culture.
The art of Flamenco, rooted in the Indian and Moorish history, is a powerful sign of the Spanish people’s sentiment.
The combination of classic guitar, percussion, voice, and dance, invites you to blend in with the “duende”,
or magic feeling, in a breathtaking experience.
The Saint
Louis Cultural Flamenco Society performs on festivals, shows and private events, offers live concerts, dinners, dance and
Spanish classic guitar workshops, and school seminars.
This
